Talks

  • InWaterSense at the research seminar of the ICT-KOSEU EU FP7 project

The InWaterSense project was presented as “Semantic Sensor Web and the InWaterSense project” in the Research Seminar held on 28th February 2014 at University of Prishtina as part of another project ICT-KOSEU funded by the EU’s FP7 Programme, with guest lectures by researchers of EU universities / research institutes (Max-Planck-Institute, Magdeburg, and Technical University of Berlin, Germany; CREATE NET and Trento University, Italy; Graz University of Technology, Austria; Vienna University of Technology, Austria), as well as by researchers and businesses of Kosovo, and with around 100 participants attending the seminar.
  • Smart City Forum

The InWaterSense project is presented in the First International Forum on Smart City that took place in Durrës, Albania, 3-4th November 2014. Slides of the presentation entitled “The InWaterSense Project: A Semantic Sensor Web to monitor the water quality in rivers in Kosova” are available here for download. The forum was organized by the Adriapol Institute in collaboration with Marin Barleti University of Tirana, under the High Patronage of The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Albania, with main actors in Kosovo, Albania and FYR Macedonia among governmental institutions, i.e., prime minister of Albania, ministers, majors of main cities, as well as main donators in three countries being present in this event.
