The seminar “Brainstorming on Intelligent Wireless Network Systems for Monitoring Surface Water Quality” was held in Prishtina together with international partners at the very beginning of the project October 23rd to 24th, 2012. In the first day of the seminar, both local & international partners presented the state of the art report and surveys, as well as their experience already in research and practice in the focus fields of the project, i.e., on WSN, WQM, WSN-based WQM, Pervasive Mobile Sensing and Internet of Things, Intelligent Systems. In the second day of the seminar, the on-site visit to the Sitnica river took place by local and the international team members of the project.
The InWaterSense project disseminated at ICT Proposers’ Day 2012, the EU’s largest annual event in ICT with thousands of participants, researchers, decision-makers, and businesses in the field, held this year in Warsaw, Poland, on 26-27th September 2013. The networking sessions, like the Face2Face session facilitated by the organizers of the event were used to discuss about the InWaterSense project. Worth mentioning is also participation in the session “Objective 6.3: Water resources management” which relates to the InWaterSense focus topic. The participation was funded by the ICT_KOSEU EU FP7 project.
